About Our Academy

The Skegness Academy opened on 1 September 2010, replacing the predecessor St Clements College. It provides 11-19 education for up to 1190 pupils, including 340 post-16. The Academy occupies a large site with extensive sports facilities and green space.

  • Friday voucher give away! The 99th, 199th and 299th student through the gate in the morning, will receive one of these vouchers! This will also include the 49th and 99th student to arrive through the back gate. We cannot wait to see who our winners will be!

  • STEM Club STEM Club is now going virtual each week for the next four weeks of this term. The theme is extreme weather. Every week there will be a different activity linked to extreme weather. This week is rising sea levels. You hear on the news extreme weather but what is it. Every week between now and half term we will be looking at one type of extreme weather such as tornados, flooding, global warming, and giving you a challenge you can try at home linked into this.   • Year 9 Drama students have been looking at non-naturalistic theatre and they had to place it into the play of Blood Brothers. Here is an example of the amazing work produced by some of our current Year 9s. Well done!
