Sport and Social Science Faculty Intent

Our aim is to enable the young people of the Skegness Academy to succeed in and out of the classroom. Through a broad and enthusing curriculum, students will develop their skills, knowledge and understanding to become critical and innovative thinkers.

Staff will strive to give all students, regardless of socioeconomic background, the tools required to move into employment within the recreation, leisure or care services in the local area. Whilst at the same time ensuring students achieve excellent academic results to progress into further education if desired.

Within our faculty, students will develop their physical, social and mental wellbeing to become happy, healthy and well-rounded individuals who make a positive contribution to the community and achieve their full potential.
