Year 11 to Sixth Form Bridging Work
Sixth Form Preparation for success
To support students to make the transition from GCSE onto the A Level/Vocational programmes of study, we have produced a range of activities that must be completed over the summer holidays. The aim of these tasks is for students to demonstrate their commitment, attitude to learning, independence and general understanding of the courses they will be studying in September. The work produced will also be used to support with the baseline assessments that they will undertake at the start of the academic year.
Students should open and save the documents from the A Level/Vocational subjects they will be studying in September and complete the activities outlined. If you would like to know your options or prefer paper copies of the work, please contact the Sixth Form Team on the email below.

All students must meet the minimum entry requirements for their chosen courses. If there are insufficient numbers of students wishing to study a particular course and staffing levels, the Skegness Academy have the right to withdraw the course at any time.
Students should submit this work to their subject teachers on the first lesson of the first week back.
If your plans change for September 2021 and you decide Skegness Academy is not the place you wish to continue with your studies, please ensure you contact Miss Tyler who will support you with your next steps. Her email address is ltyler@skegnessacademy.org.
